Always
perfectly polished, this iconic social has graced the International Best
Dressed List too many times to count.
Favorite
fashion flick? The
’30s movies are so stylish. Especially the ones where Art Deco jewels are worn
— the clips placed a certain way, or a brooch worn on a gorgeous evening gown
or cocktail dress. That look is still glamorous today.
Amount
of time pondering a single outfit? I always say, when in doubt, don’t! But I’ll spend endless
hours, even days, contemplating buying an haute couture outfit. When I finally
do decide on my choice, I’ll wear it several times that year in different parts
of the world, put it away for a couple of years, and then bring it out again.
Fortunately, I have some golden oldies that I love and adore as much as when I
bought them, and appreciate them even more in this economic downturn …
Something
stylish people have in common? Stylish people that I admire all seem to be doers; no one
is idle. Also, they seem to have an inner eye that just clicks “the right
thing,” whether it’s how they wear clothes or how they live in their homes …
Their graciousness and good manners breathe style.

This
best-dressed man cuts the best tresses in town at his namesake salon Ceron.
Can’t
live without? My Alexandra
Knight black alligator bag.
What do
you seem to get the most fashion kudos for? The ability to accessorize.
Favorite
fashion flick? I
absolutely love Brideshead Revisited for fashion.
Something
stylish people have in common? A good haircut.
What do
you have your eye on next? The Jean Paul Gaultier men’s Kelly bag for Hermès.
