• Spa-ing for Charity: If ever there were a reason to postpone your Aspen jaunt until August, it’s this: The first-ever Texas Spa & Salon Month, a whole 31 days of discounted pedis, manis, facials, scrubs and more. Beginning July 1, the spa-obsessed can rejuvenate and replenish for 15 to 25 percent less than usual at certain spas, salons and fitness centers with the purchase of a $30 Beauty Pass. What’s more, a portion of the proceeds from every Beauty Pass benefits the Dallas chapter of the Young Texans Against Cancer. “I lost my mother-in-law to cancer,” says Texas Spa & Salon Month founder Marianne McEvoy Lynn. “Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way.” So far, more than 40 beauty institutions in Dallas have signed up — including Bliss Dallas, Park Cities Dermatology, Salon Pompeo, Adrift Float Spa and The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas Spa — with a handful in Houston and San Antonio, too. • Move Over, Green Lantern: What to add to your makeup bag now? Smoky and shimmery shadows and liners in emerald, olive, jade and teal. The glam, green-lidded look was spotted at Fall 2011 runway shows at Pucci and Lim — and we loved it. Try the trend with Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Eyes pencil in pine green, Diamond Shadow in dark teal or, for the brightest pop of kelly green with a golden-y sheen, layer on Aqua Cream #22. • Go Roe: You’ll need to know just three little words when booking your next appointment at Cerón Salon in Neiman Marcus Downtown: Thee Viron Roe. Roe, a hair and makeup artist with quite the roster of A-list clientele (Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields, Tilda Swinton), has teamed with master stylist Cerón to offer cuts, color, blow outs and makeup application.
