So many stores, so little time. That’s the shopper’s lament come Wednesday, September 6, when Dallas retailers pull out the stops for Fashion’s Night Out. Forthwith, abbreviated highlights from destinations that definitely have it going on: Hot looks, live music, DJs, in-store special events and promotions, gifts with purchase, one-night-only discounts, dining specials, mini makeovers and more make NorthPark Center the place to be. (PaperCity is media sponsor so we’ll be all over NorthPark like an Alaïa dress.) Get inspired during runway shows featuring exits from Nordstrom, Bebe, Diesel and H&M at 6 pm; Neiman Marcus at 7 pm; and Ted Baker London, Macy’s, Pinto Ranch Fine Western Wear, Gap and Dillard’s at 8 pm. And don’t miss the Roberto Cavalli exhibit (including a fuchsia-feather number worn by Christina Aguilera) in SouthCourt … Neiman Marcus NorthPark hosts “Simply Summer … Fashionably Fall” benefitting Turtle Creek Recovery Center via a private cocktail party at NM Café (ticketholders receive VIP seating for the runway show) …  Barneys New York gives with your take — 10 percent of sales between 6 and 10 pm will benefit the Human Rights Campaign … Couture canines and owners strut their stuff during a fashion show at Neiman Marcus Willow Bend; sips and eats courtesy of Mi Cocina and Taco Diner; personal appearances by jewelry designer Stephanie Anne and creators of Kale Naturals, Dana Kale and Tia PettijohnTootsies features micro-boutiques edited by local bloggers and sips from Z Tequila. Shoppers will score swag bags and giveaways, and vie for best-dressed-guest honors … From 4 to 7 pm, Stanley Korshak stages an interactive styling competition at The Shak. Makeup artists and accessories stations help guests develop a winning look; a professional photographer captures the result … A runway spanning the entire length of Galleria Dallas sets the stage for fashion shows at 6 and 8 pm. Revive yourself at a shopper’s lounge serving Skinnygirl cocktails, and don’t miss the after-party at Townhouse Kitchen + BarSaks Fifth Avenue touts Brian Atwood’s latest collection while benefitting victims of domestic violence through a partnership with the Society of Women Who Love ShoesDJ Lucy Wrubel will be doing her thing at Forty Five TenHighland Park Village offers two runway presentations at 7 and 9 pm, plus the grand reopening of Five and Ten and the opening of the Akris boutique. You can even find out what the future holds via a fortune teller at Christian Louboutin. The after-party starts at 9 pm at the LAFCO New York shop ... Movida Boutique at Mockingbird Station gives early birds 20 percent off purchases between 4 and 6 pm … From 4 to 7 pm, Elements gets a foreign accent with macaroons from Tart Bakery, ’60s and ’70s French tunes by DJ Fred Holston, makeovers by stylists from Jean Philippe and giveaways to a few lucky ladies.
