When it comes to raising the retail bar, it takes a village — Highland Park Village. Rag & Bone moves into larger, permanent digs mid-summer, and we’re on pins and needles for Tom Ford opening in October, closely followed by Ermenegildo Zegna in November. Stay tuned for the arrival of Brunello Cucinelli and James PerseNorthPark Center has four how-did-we-live-without-them arrivals landing summer and early fall: the first Splendid clothing boutique in Dallas; a Rolex shop within the hallowed walls of Eiseman Jewels; a cafe, grocery pick-up and coffee/juice bar from Green House Market; and the first Texas boutique for French-Swiss watchmaker Tourbillon. The shopping mecca is also well on its way to filling the vacant space that was once Barneys New York (sniff, sniff): Arhaus Furniture — famed for its chair wall showcasing a multitude of dining seats — and Fixtures Living make their DFW debuts, the latter specializing in gorgeous kitchen and bathroom musts. CH Carolina Herrera and Kate Spade New York will also be playing a bit of musical stores — each will vacate its current digs for expanded square footage within Barneys’ former footprint … Our sights are set on the Holland & Holland Gun Room now open at deBoulle, the only such showroom located outside of New York, Moscow and London. Bespoke sporting arms, clothing and accessories have never been so luxurious — or legendary ...
