Country crooner Lyle Lovett has traded in his pick for a pencil, creating a new collection of shirts with Hamilton. A bespoke client of this tony shirt maker for many years, Lovett forged a close relationship with siblings Kelly and David Hamilton, and the collaboration that ensued is comprised of 23 shirts made to Lovett’s specifications. Curved yokes and matching pocket flaps, horn buttons and barrel cuffs — the collection has a distinctly western aesthetic, but the slightly trimmer fit belies the designer’s well-known style sensitivity. Hand-cut in the company’s Houston factory, fabrics range from poplins to twills. From $225, at Hamilton Shirts; hamiltonshirts.com.
