Houston native Casey Larkin Blond launched Mr. Larkin as a ready-to-wear collection but put the project on hold while she built a family and established new roots in the EU. She relaunched Mr. Larkin as an online shop, selling a curious and curated assortment of brands sourced from L.A. to Europe. Now through December 21, she’s having her first go at brick-and-mortar with a pop-up shop in West University, around the corner from Tiny’s No. 5. Here, she stocks well-crafted and handmade women’s clothing, accessories, home and children’s items — designer names such as Rachel Comey, Nanushka, Dusen Dusen, Coral & Tusk and The Boyscouts, plus the label that started everything, Mr. Larkin. It’s a small world, after all. 3622 University Blvd., 415.734.8572; mrlarkin.net.
