As is to be
expected Tuesday was a "Thrash
Bash"! The evening opened with cocktails and book signing of Derek
Blasberg's New York Times-touted volume Classy: Exceptional
Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady. Guests arrived in chic summer
attire. Looks we loved: Blasberg donned seersucker and a ultra-now peter pan collar; Neal Hamil
appeared in a stately white-trimmed navy blazer and equally of the moment suede
ankle boots while Ceron bared some ankle (gentleman no socks needed with a great
lace up dress shoe!). Ladies buzzed around in swaths of summery hues and prints,
embellished with metallics, and Debra Grierson looked as if she just stepped
off a yacht and dropped her anchor at Casa Thrash (dripping with oversized gold
chains and an assortment of brill trinkets, not to mention the pompadour
"bump" pulled back into a sporty pony tail — fab!). The energy was
breezy and effervescent and Becca and Derek equally wowed with charm,
finesse and a whole lot of class.
