Rome Salon and Day Spa celebrated the upcoming Consular Ball at West Ave with a cocktail kickoff themed Retreat to the Mayan Riviera (save the date for the white-tie international gala: Saturday, October 16, at the Hilton Americas–Houston). Members of the Consular Forum and the Houston Junior Chamber of Commerce enjoyed lime-and-salt hand and foot scrubs paired with pink margaritas and coastal cuisine. The pampered bunch included Rome’s Zahira Coll-Buell, Eve Ruhlman, Consul General of the Netherlands Geert C. Visser, Fallon and Kevin Bulli, Consul General of Greece Alexandra Theodoropoulou, and Valerie Dittner.
