On Satruday, February 18, 2012 the upscale River Oaks Country Club was again the venue for the Camp For All Campfest 2012. The theme for this evening's celebration - Made In Texas - was inspired by the indomitable, true grit, "can do" spirit of both the founders of Camp For All and the campers with special needs and challenging illnesses who come to camp for the unique, 206-acre, barrier-free facility in beautiful Washinton County, Texas.
Gala Chairs Jill and John Pavlas and Gala Co-Chairs Barry and Dena Wren welcomed the more than 460 guest after check-in. The reception started at 6pm and guests enjoyed cocktails and mingled with others. Three Big Auction Boards were set up and guests could bit on items like "Wine Down For Your Perfect Evening" or "Boatin' On the Bayou".
The dress code of the evening was 'Denim and Boots' and you could see a lot of dressy western outfits, and even the Herb Remington Band played country music.
Around 7pm the chimes reminded the guests to walk to the ballroom for dinner. The evening program with dinner, introduction of Chairs and Honorees and a Live Auction could begin.
