Slipper Club’s Dazzling Arabian Night

What happens when 400 junior socials gather at Brook Hollow Golf Club in their hautest gowns and tuxes? Fireworks — of the Arabian kind, in the case of the “Arabian Night”–themed Slipper Club Gala and Auction. Top sponsors of this Heroes for Children benefit wined and dined at a pre-gala banquet. Masses of partygoers arrived next, gravitating toward the silent auction — a treasure chest of covetables, from vacations and champagne brunches to jewelry — and the divine hookah-and-henna lounge. Spotted: chairman Olivia Liland, the genie behind the sparkling event, and guests Janie Robertson, Christina Conway, Krystal Schlegel, Matthew Cain, Amy and Wade Havins, Sarah Thompson, and Ryan Wolcott.
