Rich in history and hue, the Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University celebrated the arrival of its most recent display from abroad — the Belgian-made Pastrana tapestries — with an equally sumptuous black-tie dinner. Art sophisticates (think Meadows Museum director Mark Roglán, George Tobolowski, Mark Meadows, Marta Lozano and Alberto Pastor) were treated to a special viewing of the recently restored 15th-century tapestries, as well as access to a display of 15th- and 16th-century maps on loan from the DeGolyer Library.
