Wanderlusters and art enthusiasts congregated at the home of Sheryl and Eric Maas for the Art Ball 2012 Exclusive Auction Preview and Patron Party. Front-entrance eye candy compliments of Classic BMW and BMW of Dallas greeted the 125 guests, who were eager to check out the Own It Now auction items, available to the first bidders amenable to the listed price. For coveting and purchasing: an Hermès Travel Package that included a swoon-worthy bag and scarf; black-gold and diamond chandelier earrings; a beach house for 12 in Careyes, Mexico, with private chef, pool, gym, tennis court and massage room; and a two-person tour of the Amalfi Coast and Rome, along with cooking classes and luxe hotel suites. The gracious hosts — plus Dallas Museum of Art director Maxwell Anderson and Art Ball co-chairmen Julie Hawes and Merry Vose — thanked everyone for joining in the celebration of the 47th Art Ball. After toasts and cheers, Chris Carrington strummed his guitar for guests Gowri and Alex Sharma, Melinda and Mark Knowles, Jennifer and Coley Clark, Christie’s Capera Ryan, Laura Noble, Cece and Ford Lacy, Lindsay and Chuck Jacaman, Lysa and Greg Rohan, Erin Mathews, David Nichols, Jessica Olsson, Faisal Halum, and Doris and Jack Jacobs.
