Fun and philanthropic gal about town Karen Wildenstein joined pal Cheryl Byington to chair an engaging luncheon in Neiman’s Couture department for a very good cause: Houston Fire Fighters Burned and Crippled Children’s Fund. The lively afternoon, billed as “Fashion, Furs and Firemen,” lived up to its moniker, as our Fire Department’s finest sold and signed calendars while fashion and furs glided by on the catwalk. Sizzling attendees: Leila Gilbert, Melissa King, Liz Jameson, Mary Ann McKeithan, Kathi Rovere, Astrid Van Dyke, Cynthe Hughes, and Joanne Naponic, who won the gingerbread decorating contest.
