Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) raised temperatures — and funds for HIV/AIDS charities in North Texas — during its Smoking Haute event. Philanthropic fashion folk made red-carpet entrances into the Hilton Anatole, then feverishly bid on one-of-a-kind items such as a John Paul Gaultier jacket worn by Rihanna, among other choice offerings. Turning up the heat: DIFFA Chairman Clint Bradley and guests Tori Hobbs, Tara Harper, Ashley and John Burghardt, John Ambler, Terry Walker, and Andrew Wong.
