The opening of Summit Rock, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Horseshoe Bay, was truly a swinging affair. More than 250 members and guests gathered at a private luncheon to meet the legend, then convened at the 10th hole to watch his much-anticipated first official drive. Enjoying their view from the top: Roy Clements, Dianne and Ken Jones, Mike Abbott, Mark Knudson, Bob Cain, Ron Yates, Steve Smith, and Elsie Thurman.
