While the mention of table dances or silverware swiping might suggest a rather unsavory occasion, the Annual Celebrity Waiter Luncheon benefitting Family Gateway raised far more than eyebrows. More than $150,000 was collected in an effort to end the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Dallas, as co-chairs Shay Geyer and Maggie Kipp and honorary chair Faye C. Briggs enticed local celebrities ‹ including gallery owner Kenny Goss, jewelry designer Shona Gilbert, reality TV star Connie Dieb, fashion blogger Courtney Kerr, publisher Terri Provencal, radio personality Jody Dean, event producer Rhonda Sargent Chambers, and Platinum Motorcars' owner Benny Black ‹ to really work for tips. Emptying their pockets at The Ritz-Carlton: Doris Jacobs, Gina Betts, Bonnie Blossman, Abby Egan, Jennifer Buxton, Jamie Singer, and Tommy DeAlano.
