Sin City was given a run for its money when this year’s Children’s Museum of Houston’s Vegas-inspired gala raised close to a million dollars. Chairmen Kim and Randy Petersen, and Millette and Haag Sherman transformed The Corinthian into the entertainment capital of the world with showgirls dressed for the Golden Nugget, an Elvis impersonator serenading guests and a casino where high rollers could wager it all. The live auction included incredible offers such as Grammy tickets, custom Valobra jewels and a trip to anywhere in the world, all overseen by auction chair foursome Terri Havens, Bethany Hughes, Kim Martin, and Kelly Sklar. Savoring Sin City: CMH board president Lance Gilliam with wife Jennifer, Gina and Devinder Bhatia, Elena and Gregg Davis, underwriting chairs Gina and Carl Luna and Melissa and Michael Mithoff, Nancy and Franco Valobra, Stephanie and Bill Perkins, Susan and Mike Plank, Margaret and Thad Hill, Sarah and Doug Foshee, and Tiffany and Rick Smith.
