Sharon L. Taylor

Performing Arts Editor / Copy Director

Words have been the common denominator throughout Sharon L. Taylor’s career, which has included advertising copywriting, newspaper reporting, and magazine editing and fact checking. She’s covered the theater world for more than two decades, including an eight-year stint as founder/editor in chief of The Barricade, the international newsletter for the musical “Les Misérables” (once hailed in every “Les Mis” Playbill, as well as the official Web site and the British book “Les Misérables: History in the Making”). She has also freelanced for Show Music Magazine, the Broadway News Bureau, and various local and international Web sites. Here at PaperCity -- where she’s served as copy director for more than 12 years -- she considers herself a representative for words and grammar in the somewhat guerilla world of fashion and style.
