Megan Pruitt Winder

Assistant Fashion Editor

The career trajectory of Houston native Megan Pruitt Winder arcs from the collegiate plains of West Texas to the halls of Condé Nast, with a stint in London further preparing her for her position as assistant fashion editor at PaperCity magazine.

This legacy grad of Abilene Christian University cut her post-college teeth tête-à-têting with Anna Wintour and Graydon Carter as part of the administrative team of Condé Nast — how’s that for a first job? She married her college sweetheart, digital master/corporate prez Garrett Winder, and joined him on his new post in the UK, from whence she gallivanted around Europe for the first year of married life (her mantra: “Piccadilly to Nottingham”).

Now back in Texas, this bright light joins executive editor Kate Stukenberg in covering all things fashion for PaperCity. When not dishing and dining with luminaries such as Christian Louboutin, Megan keeps a running wish list of destinations and desires (from luggage to skill sets) on her iPhone and confesses to a penchant for leather: rare vintage books, leather-scented candles, bibliothèques worldwide, a timeless Louis Vuitton handbag jammed with Post-It notes and the latest runway inspirations. Rounding out her life are pooches Hallie and Olivia, whose walks are squeezed in between cocktail fêtes.
