Lacy Ball
Dallas Social Editor
Dallas native Lacy Ball has an unparalleled zest for life and adventure that can only be topped by her lifelong passion for animal rescue and welfare. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma's renowned Gaylord College of Journalism, Lacy’s career has taken her through all facets of the industry including media relations, crisis communication, feature writing, weekly television appearances, photography, fundraising and event planning.
Thanks to her vivacious personality and gift of story-telling, Lacy was pursued to conceptualize and launch a ground-breaking, weekend radio program and contribute weekly to the Dallas Morning News community pages where she had her own byline.
With a strong background in non-profit and enthusiasm for making a positive impact in the community, Lacy brings a unique perspective and vision to PaperCity Magazine as the Social and Style Editor. When she is not out exploring her city for the next revolutionary local designer or tasting new dishes from Dallas’ most progressive chefs, you’ll find her at a music festival, spending time with family and friends, traveling anywhere, sipping a Merlot, photographing a sunset or rescuing Dallas’ forgotten pets from the streets. A bully breed lover for life, Lacy always has a spare leash and a package of treats in her car.
