The Ultimate New Orleans Party — in Texas: Eccentric Art Beauty Puts on an Eye-Catching Big Easy Show

When New Orleans-based artist Page Goss (a former Dallasite and Southern Methodist University alumni) comes to town for a visit, she always brings a bit of NOLA with her. But this time, the eccentric beauty pulled out all the stops.

The cause for celebration? A one-night pop-up art show of her mod, psychedelic paintings.

Held at Ash Studios — a warehouse-style creative space in southeast Dallas — the opening party drew a diverse mix of creative types and pretty young things from the city’s art contingent. As for Goss, she accessorized every inch of the opening with New Orleans-style flare, including Louisianan food by Guthrie’s Food & Gatherings, handcrafted Sazeracs prepped inside the coolest vintage mobile bar, Trucky, plus a live band and vinyl-spinning DJ that played Louisiana-style tunes all night.

Until the next time Goss brings her art — and the Big Easy — back to Dallas for a show this summer at Cinq Gallery, we’ll be following her eye-catching work at pagegoss.com and @pagegossart.
