World-Famous Performer on Multi-Million Dollar Violin Electrifies at the Houston Symphony Opening Night

PC Moment: The 2015-2016 season of the Symphony kicked off with great fanfare, as guests in black tie were treated to champagne and hors d’oeuvre, a concert by the Houston Symphony featuring world famous violinist Joshua Bell (read about his storied Stradivarius violin here), a multi-course seated dinner and dancing to Richard Brown Orchestra. The evening, which raised a record-breaking $800,000 for the Symphony’s education and community programming, also served as an 80th birthday party for the lovely Margaret Williams, who donated an impressive $5 million to the Symphony in the spring.
