New Frozen Holiday Treat Makes Waves in Dallas: Two Stores Team Up for Goodness

BY Jenn D'Agostino // 12.07.16

Why not try your hot cocoa frozen this year? Saint Bernard and Howdy Homemade are teaming up for the holidays to create new flavor, Ruthie’s Frozen Hot Chocolate. A portion of the proceeds from each scoop will go back to the Highland Park Transition Program, which helps children with special needs.

Both businesses are also hosting an event that aims to make holiday shopping easier for the families of these children by allowing them to avoid the crowds and long lines at the mall and enjoy a morning of stress-free shopping. Kids will also get a chance to meet Santa with free photos and scoops of the new ice cream flavor, on the house.

The shopping event takes place Saturday, December 10, from 8 to 10 am at the Inwood Village Saint Bernard store, and 20 percent of the proceeds will go back to Landis’ Howdy Foundation.
