Landmark Dallas Hotel Reveals a Stunning New Look: $30 Million Redesign Geared Toward New Generation of Travelers

Uptown Dallas’ Parisian landmark, Hotel Crescent Court, is getting a new look this spring. The 30-year-old hotel revealed plans for a $30 million re-imagining, launching before summer. The renovations will include completely redesigned guest rooms and suites, refurbished public spaces and lobby, an expanded lobby bar, and a remodeled spa and fitness center.

The project is headed by waldrop+nichols, the Dallas-based interior design firm behind the Omni Dallas Hotel. The design firm will bring a modern spin to the classically luxurious Crescent in an effort to bring a new generation of followers to the hotel.

Inspired by the geometry of architecture and fashion, the renovations will update the hotel’s style while drawing inspiration from its French-inspired exterior. The design firm plans to draw focus to the impressive architecture of the Crescent with a subtle color palette of limestone, blush, taupe, and mink.

“Embarking on a design renovation for a hotel with renowned presence and pedigree requires a commitment to honor the heritage, yet still create an aesthetic for the next generation,” VP of waldrop+nichols studio Andrea Waldrop says in a release.

The hotel, formerly the Rosewood Crescent, returned to its original name after being purchased by Crescent Real Estate LLC last July. Now, it’s striving to preserve its history while embracing modern Texas hospitality.

Attached to the iconic Stanley Korshak store, and new hotspots like Nobu, the hotel has been a landmark in Uptown for years.

“Hotel Crescent Court has played a critical role in Dallas’ dynamic culture for three decades, always striving to be the face of unparalleled service,” says John Goff, chairman of Crescent. “This $30 million investment has been carefully designed to elevate the hotel to an even greater level of style, enriching the experiences of today’s discerning travelers.”
