With a grand opening fête slated for Friday, June 2, through Sunday, June 4, Plano’s new Legacy West is the largest mixed-use development in North Texas. Whether you’re a fanatical foodie or an avid shopper, the complex anchored at Legacy Drive and the Dallas North Tollway offers dozens of stores and restaurants.

Some have already opened their doors (West Elm, Shake Shack), with the rest opening over the next several months.

Relax, read a book, and have a glass of vino at the new Barnes & Noble concept store. The Legacy West location of the nation’s largest retail book store will be the first in the Southwest to have a full restaurant with an expanded menu, including beer and wine.

Menswear store Bonobos, which also has a shop in Knox-Henderson, offers face-to-face style assistance, making shopping easy and fun.

Coach has helped shape what we know as modern luxury today. The American brand, which recently tapped Dallas-born Selena Gomez as its ambassador, prides itself on quality and craftsmanship and continues to be an innovator in fashion.

With its intimate atmosphere, Toulouse is reminiscent of a Parisian cafe. Offering a seasonal menu and French specialties, the restaurant — also part of the Lombardi Family Concepts group — makes you feel as if you’re already in the romantic European city.

What started as a hot dog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park is now a national phenomenon. Shake Shack, which recently opened its first Dallas location in Uptown, is a modern-day burger stand that also offers hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes, beer, and wine.

Dallas restauranteur Mico Rodriguez’s fifth eatery is coming to Legacy West. Between black bean and brisket tacos, delicious ceviche, and inventive margaritas, Mesero is the perfect place for every Tex Mex-loving Dallasite.

Hot on the heels of its Uptown Dallas opening, Brazilian restaurant Fogo de Chao has a new home at Legacy West. The restaurant specializes in the traditional churrasco grilling style — don’t leave without trying the bacon-wrapped filet mignon.

Beloved bakery Sprinkles is getting its second Dallas location. The Legacy West store has cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, and a 24/7 Cupcake ATM so you can satisfy your sweet tooth at any hour.
