Details: Keynote Speaker is Kris “Tanto” Paronto, subject of the movie 13 Hours and survivor of the Battle of Benghazi and author of 13 Hours and The Ranger Way. He is a former U.S. Army Ranger, 2nd Battalion, 75th Regiment and 5th Battalion Special Forces Group, a security and military consultant. A survivor of the attacks on Benghazi on September 11, 2012, he will detail his experience at the luncheon.
The Sons of the Flag Legacy Award will be presented to Major Richard Agnew, an Army paratrooper during the Korean War and a recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross. He has served on the Board of the Legion of Valor, the Board of Directors of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation, and as the former Chairman of the Advisory Council and Finance Committee of the Fischer House Dallas.
