In 1727, Benjamin Franklin formed a “self-improvement club” and devised a list of thirteen virtues that he deemed worthy of serious time and effort within the group: temperance, silence, order, resolution, frugality, industry, sincerity, justice, moderation, cleanliness, tranquility, chastity, and humility.

Explore and analyze Franklin’s virtues related to today’s culture and experience.

The Dallas Institute joins a national initiative launched by the 92nd Street Y in NYC, Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, and Citizen University in Seattle.
