What

According to the U.S. State Department, 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders every year. Half of its victims are children and 80% are female.
We do tend to think of human trafficking as an “international” issue, but human trafficking does exist in our region, and perhaps even in your neighborhood. This panel of experts will present an overview of the impact human trafficking has on Fort Worth and Tarrant County today and will address the need to play offense on the sex trafficking, forced labor and domestic servitude that has become a $150 billion per year industry.
