The Perfect Body Cream?

An Elusive Beauty Quest Uncovers a Winner With Recovery Power

BY Tanya Foster // 04.19.16

I’m not going to lie — if you give me a luxury product to try, I’m in. It’s just like being a spa snob. Luxury services, locations and products call my name, as I truly believe you get what you pay for.

I am always in search of the perfect body cream, because I have dry skin, and many lotions and creams have come and gone in my beauty arsenal. Recently, I reconnected with Hylton Lea, the director of skincare at Le Métier de Beauté. He changed my world by introducing me to the company’s new Vital ET Recovery Boost line.

When I first met Hylton, he convinced me to start using the Neck and Décolleté Firming Creme. It’s expensive, but worth it. The neck and chest area are a dead giveaway for age, so it’s wise to combat the wrinkles and sun damage in this area. The best time to use the creme is as you step out of the shower. It applies beautifully, and you don’t have to use a large amount.

Hylton also suggested the Vital ET Recovery Boost products. Vital ET Recovery Boost Body is an excellent hydrating body product, a triple dose of pharmaceutical-grade vitamin E. Use it directly after you shave or wax your legs. It instantly soothes and reduces redness. Vital ET Recovery Boost Face reduces red, angry skin caused by too much sun exposure, environmental stressors, chemical peels, and laser or surgical procedures. It’s especially effective on wounds that could be scarring.

I was convinced to try the new line when Hylton, who had a skin cancer removed from beneath his eye, showed me his before and after photos. He used Vital ET Recovery Boost Face to heal his scar. Click here to hear him discuss the products.

Using these products has my skin feeling moist and hydrated, which is not something I often say. I think I have my summer regimen.
