Downtown Dallas’ Fashion Mecca Unveils a Must-See Lineup: Major Stars Headed to Town

BY India Pougher // 03.21.17

Forty Five Ten never fails to bring us the best in fashion and beauty, and this spring is no different. From beauty superstars to design darlings, Dallas’ new Main Street store has a long list of major guests arriving soon for events, trunk shows, and personal appearances.

Here are some of our must-sees:

Eva Zuckerman
Friday, March 24
Known for her modern take on fine jewelry, often featuring edgy spikes made from materials like blackened white, rose, and yellow gold, New York-based jewelry designer Eva Zuckerman of Eva Fehren has made a name for herself with her geometric aesthetic (see her notable “X” collection). The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund nominee, whose fans include Garance Doré and designer Ryan Roche, will stop by the store for a PA and trunk show on Friday, March 24.

Troy Surratt
Friday, March 24
A student of the of late, great Kevyn Aucoin, Troy Surratt of Surratt Beauty is noted for his innovative range of products, including refillable powders, eyeliners, and eyebrow pencils, plus a lash curler that’s touted by beauty editors everywhere. He’ll be stopping by the beauty department for a cosmetics event on Friday, March 24.

Dr. Timm Golueke
Friday, April 7; Saturday, April 8
When a beauty company launches at Bergdorf Goodman it usually means they’re onto something. That’s what German dermatologist Dr. Timm Golueke thought when he realized the protective benefits of ferns in skincare (the phytoactive ingredient can protect against UV radiation) and wedded the two to create Royal Fern. The collection has grown to include a face cream, eye cream, serum, and cleansing balm, but word has it there may be more formulas coming out. Golueke will visit the store for an event on Friday, April 7, and Saturday, April 8.

Gabriela Hearst
Thursday, April 20, through Saturday, April 22
After Barneys, Forty Five Ten was an early expansion for womenswear designer Gabriela Hearst. Her young brand, which recently showed its Fall 2017 collection, is known for sophisticated design and quality craftsmanship, often inspired by and using materials from Hearst’s ranch in Uruguay. The New York socialite turned designer will be in store for a trunk show and PA from Thursday, April 20, through Saturday, April 22.
