A Shirtless Rock Star Fashion Designer Makes Waves in Dallas — and His Return Promises to be Even More Frenzied

When fashion designer Jeremy Scott came to Dallas for TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art in October, he caused quite the stir: On the arm of socialite and philanthropist Nancy Rogers (who was wearing a neon graffiti-covered gown he designed for her), he was all sex and rock ’n’ roll in a tuxedo sans shirt, his muscular chest catching as much attention as the contemporary art on display.

Our city’s top fashion types fell head-over-heels for Scott’s megawatt magnetism, so that same pack will no doubt flock to Forty Five Ten when he visits the store on Thursday, April 7, 3 to 5 pm, for his Spring/Summer 2016 Moschino and Jeremy Scott trunk shows — the former riffed on the playful idea of a couture construction zone, while the latter seemed a mod nod to Barbie in a vibrant pop-art way.

He’ll also sign his namesake book, Jeremy Scott (Rizzoli), which launched at Art Basel Miami Beach two years ago.
