New York Fashion Week is quickly approaching (it kicks off Thursday, September 7), but we’re heading to the city before the madness begins for a fashionable event with Dallas ties.
For 10 days this month, Heather Wiese-Alexander is hosting a pop-up shop for her Dallas-based luxury stationery company Bell’Invito, in the heart of Lower Manhattan.
From Thursday, August 17, through Sunday, August 27, shop stationery, jotters, gift tags, coasters, desktop, travel, and other decor accessories, plus pieces from the newly launched Bell’Invito Home collection.
And, for the first time, receive complimentary on-site personalization with every candle purchase.
The pop up will be held in a 400-square-foot, open-concept gallery space at 171 Elizabeth Street, located in one of Wiese-Alexander’s favorite neighborhoods. You might even spot celeb fans of the brand (Amanda Seyfried, Katy Perry, Elton John) while you’re there.
“Lower Manhattan has always been like a second home to me,” Wiese-Alexander says. “It’s serendipitous that my very first boxed paper collection includes the still popular Elizabeth Street design.”
For those who are unfamiliar, Wiese-Alexander launched her brand 12 years ago after unearthing several late-19th century printing presses among her family’s heirlooms, becoming inspired to produce beautiful modern stationery with a traditional European twist.
Bell’Invito’s New York City pop-up shop will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm; and Sunday from noon to 4 pm; or by appointment.
