Vintage clothing gets a reboot at the newly opened L’Equipe in Antiques and Interiors at 2311 Westheimer Road. The boutique specializes in post-war vintage clothing and accessories. This marks owner Cragg Eubanks’ return to the vintage scene. His former North Houston shop attracted the likes of famous entertainers, musicians and celebrities, including Ralph Lauren. In addition to the variety of vintage digs, the store also carries new, contemporary clothing, and is the only dealer in Houston for Rockmount Ranch Wear, Paul Bond custom boots, WESCO boots, Suixtil Grand Prix Clothing, Kamehameha Garments and GoldTop England.

Luxury fitness and lifestyle club Equinox opened its first Houston location on Thursday, December 3 in River Oaks District. Club members have access to five fitness studios designated for cycling, regular and hot yoga, Pilates, Equinox’s new barre program and group fitness classes led by Equinox’s fitness and nutrition instructors. International fashion label COS (Collection of Style) opens the doors to its first Texas store on Friday, December 11, in River Oaks District. The H&M sister store debuted its lifestyle collection in 2007 in London, showcasing high-quality modern design at an affordable price. Expect classic pieces for men and women with a contemporary twist.

Houston native and New-York-based jewelry designer Eve France introduces her newest project, Artistry Across Borders, to Houston with two trunk shows. The non-profit initiative showcases artistry from South African women through a collection of contemporary jewelry.The women participating in Artistry Across Borders use traditional African beadwork to create their designs. France teamed up with artists Joyce Scott and Hlengi Dube for the project. Scott is known for her figurative sculptures, free-form jewelry and bead-weaving techniques, while Dube specializes in training and promoting art in South Africa. Houstonians can view the work at High Gloss in Uptown Park on Saturday, December 11, and Sunday, December 12. Twenty percent of sales will benefit female artisans in South Africa.

Blacksmith coffee hosts its first Customer Appreciation pop-up shop with global bag line Bartalie on Wednesday, December 16, from 7 to 9 pm. Houston native Amina Belouizdad conceived the bag line inside of Blacksmith, making her the perfect fit for the shop’s first pop-up.
