Not Just a Girl’s Thing: Tiffany’s Man Plan Centers Around Watches and Influencers — with a Dallas Celebrity Chef Assist

Feminine mystique is synonymous with Tiffany & Co., from Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany’s to the thrill a woman experiences upon receiving that little blue box. But it’s a man — the Greek titan Atlas, in fact — who actually holds sway at Tiffany.

His bronze sculpture has supported an enormous clock (one of the first public time-keepers in New York City) atop the entrance to Tiffany & Co.’s Manhattan flagship store since 1853. With the launch of its newest watch collection, the sleek CT60, Tiffany reminds us of its deftness with timepieces and of the men of substance who wear them. Case in point: A Tiffany watch that was given to president Franklin Delano Roosevelt on his birthday in 1945 inspired the CT60’s design.

To toast the new collection, Tiffany has given a lineup of men the title of Watch Influencer, including New York style icon Nick Wooster and San Francisco entrepreneur Trevor Traina. Next month, Dallas gets its own Watch Influencer in chef Dean Fearing, who toasts the CT60 during a private Watch Week event at the NorthPark Center Tiffany boutique. The guest of honor is the aforementioned timepiece worn by FDR, which is on view Thursday through Monday, November 12 through 16. There’s a daintier collection of CT60s for women, but if you’re like us, you’ll go for the men’s. From $4,250.
