Toni Muñoz-Hunt is glowing — and not just because she and husband Dan Hunt recently welcomed their first baby, adorable daughter Darlington. The luminous complexion of this Dallas-based model, philanthropist and blogger also stems from years of taking care of her skin, staying active, eating healthy and drinking plenty of H2O. From her go-to hairstylist to her must-have makeup products, Muñoz-Hunt’s beauty arsenal is an enviable one that has us taking detailed notes.

Morning ritual.
Every morning, I wake up and run four to five miles, and I always make sure to wear a hat and sunscreen. I prefer Badger Broad Spectrum SPF 35 with zinc oxide. When I return, I either wash my face with Dove White [bar soap] or SYS Daily Cleanser for a bit more exfoliation. I allow my face to air-dry, and then I take two drops of SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic and press it lightly on my face only because my neck is too sensitive for it. Once the CE Ferulic dries, I reapply the Badger sunscreen and allow it to dry. Finally, I use one pump of SYS Day Moisturizer, applying it to my face and neck. Allowing each product to dry prevents clumping. After I prep my face, I apply my eye makeup and leave my foundation for last (mixed with one pump of moisturizer), creating a healthy, dewy look. Lastly, I never leave my house without one of my fresh juices.

What are your favorite treatments?
I honestly don’t do treatments. If I do anything, they’re homemade face and hair masks. Here’s my favorite repair hair mask after my hair takes a beating:
Ingredients: 1 overripe banana (rich in potassium and Vitamin A), 1 overripe avocado (rich in Vitamin B, E, and Omega 3), and 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil for really dry hair (only if necessary)
Directions: Mix all ingredients in a blender until they become a workable paste. Apply paste to towel-dried hair, starting with the ends and working toward the scalp (skip roots if they tend to be oily). Saran-wrap hair, locking in heat and moisture. Leave mask in for 20 to 45 minutes. Rinse and shampoo (no need for conditioner). To make cleanup easy, consider washing hair over the kitchen sink.

Can’t live without: Water — duh!

Diet.
Normally, I use the MNS 3 Metabolic Nutrition System from AdvoCare. I also do the 24-Day Challenge from AdvoCare twice a year to cleanse my system and realign my diet. All of the below food and juices are homemade, and the recipes can be found on Model Behaviors:
Morning: Juice
Lunch: Salad
Small snacks throughout the day (I don’t eat all of these, just what I’m in the mood for: kale chips, trail mix, bananas and peanut butter, berries and spicy mangos.)
Dinner: Protein, vegetables and grain

Fitness.
The minute I wake up, I run four to five miles, and once a week, I run 10 miles. If time permits, I do yoga two to three times a week.

Anything else that keeps you looking gorgeous?
Beauty begins within. I strongly believe in journaling and meditating daily. It’s important to have me time so that I’m able to be the best me for others and everything that I do.
