Twenty locations — including Houston, Austin, Cincinnati, Lubbock, Midland, Atlanta, Dubai, Denver, Boulder, and Waco — aren’t stopping boutique fitness studio DEFINE body & mind from further expansion. After tackling various wellness disciplines including yoga, ballet, spin, and trampoline, the brand debuts its first meditation studio and retail outpost with DEFINE living.
Located at 2515 Morse Street (formerly David Peck), DEFINE living aims to be a hub for all things hip-zen, providing everything from meditation classes to lifestyle workshops and book clubs.
“At DEFINE, we educate individuals on how to be their best from the inside out. The class offerings will go beyond the exclusive line up of DEFINE fitness classes and include programs from partner studios all over Houston,” DEFINE founder and co-owner Henry Richardson says. “DEFINE living is intended to be a modern-day community space for all things health and wellness that brings all of the wonderful things people are doing in Houston together.”
DEFINE’s meditation classes encompass a diverse range of themes. Start your day with “Intentions,” which aims to help patrons develop concrete plans of action. Or try “Aroma,” a course that uses aromatherapy to shift one’s mindset. Classes for children and teens are also offered.
“As important as it is to move the body for health and wellness, it is even more important to be still. This is and has been my philosophy ever since I discovered meditation,” Richardson added. “My goal with DEFINE living is to help people continue to evolve along their wellness path and embrace the power of meditation.”
The eco-friendly venue also houses a tea bar, as well as a retail space with skincare products, athleisure apparel, interior decor, meditation tools and more from brands including DYI, L:A Bruket, and Graf Lantz.
