NYC-based designer Katie Ridder is championed for her bold and sophisticated use of color and pattern. She began her career as an editor under Anna Wintour at HG (House & Garden) and at House Beautiful where she styled rooms — which she dubbed “decorating book camp” — before opening her eponymous design firm. Her work has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Town & Country, the New York Times, and Domino and is the subject of the monograph Katie Ridder Rooms (Vendome).

She is a member of the Elle Decor A-List and has appeared on Top100 designer lists in House Beautiful and New York magazine. Katie also designs and produces fabrics and wallpaper in preppy and retro prints in vibrant colorways, which are available to the trade via Holland & Sherry. Katie sits on the Board of Directors of the Decorator’s Club, serves on the Friends of Horticulture at Wave Hill, and is a member of the Corporation and the Horticulture committee of the New York Botanical Garden. She is the author of A House in the Country, written with her husband, architect Peter Pennoyer, which chronicles the country home they built and decorated — a true labor of love — in Milbrook, New York.

New York City based architect Peter Pennoyer founded Peter Pennoyer Architects, an award-winning firm recognized as a leader in classicism and historic preservation, in 1990. His clients include The Mark Hotel in New York, David Webb jewelers, and The Hotchkiss School.

A New York City native who spent weekends at the Metropolitan Museum growing up, he frequently collaborated with late decorating legend Albert Hadley. He is a member of Architectural Digest’s AD100, a trustee of the Morgan Library & Museum and President of the Whiting Foundation. Known for being a scholarly architect with great respect for history, he is coauthor, with Anne Walker, of five books on early 20th-century American architectural practices. The newest, Harrie T. Lindeberg and the American Country House, will be released in late 2017.

Peter has served as chairman and board member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and in 2014 he was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. He is also the author of A House in the Country, written with his wife, interior decorator Katie Ridder, which chronicles the country home they built and decorated — a true labor of love — in Milbrook, New York.

L.A.-based designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard is the author of Martyn Lawrence Bullard: Design & Decoration (Rizzoli), and Martyn Lawrence Bullard: Live, Love & Decorate (Rizzoli). His work has appeared in numerous national and international publications; he is on the Architectural Digest AD 100 list and the Elle Decor A-List, and is a star of the TV series Million Dollar Decorators.

He has designed homes for Elton John and Cher; Tommy Hilfiger’s pop art-filled Miami house; Château Gütsch in Switzerland, once home to Queen Victoria; Ellen Pompeo’s reinvigoration of Paul R. Williams’ masterpiece in Hollywood; Imperial Arms in Chislehurst, England and a host of other projects. He designs eleven product lines of Christofle, Ann Sacks, Haviland Limoges, Daum Crystal, and Schumacher, along with fabric, furniture and fragrance collections.

L.A.-based designer Mark D. Sikes is having a well-deserved moment. His first book, Beautiful: All-American Decorating and Timeless Style (Rizzoli) was published to tremendous response, showcasing his American style and timeless interiors. His adage, “Blue and white forever,” invigorates sun porches and pool pavilions in indigos, stripes, batiks and wicker, flowing into stunning rooms with chinoiserie, gilt, treillage and rattan.

Sikes has designed lifestyle stores for Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James in Nashville an Dallas, and the set for screenwriter Nancy Meyers’ movie, The Intern. He is also the creator of MDS Stripes womenswear, playing off his obsession with blue and white stripes. He has recently introduced fabric for Schumacher, furniture and accessories for Henredon, striped dhurrie rugs for Merida, and rattan furniture for Soane London. He has crafted rooms for the Kips Bay Show House in New York, Greystone in Beverly Hills, and the Southern Living Show House in Birmingham. His work has been published in Architectural Digest, Veranda, House Beautiful and The Wall Street Journal.
