Big Announcements with Partners Card // Kicking off with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas // Shining on with Forty Five Ten

BY Jane Rozelle // 01.08.15

Chairs Lisa Bhattacharya, Andrea Cheek and Diana Hamilton invited guests to the Joule Hotel to raise a glass and cheers to another great year of Partners Card — marking 22 years of successful fundraising for The Family Place and raising a whopping $1.13 million. Keeping in the theme of the cause — the exclusive retailers at The Joule Hotel including Traffic LA, ESPA, Tenoversix and the Taschen Library offered 20 percent off to partygoers who pored over the fabulous goodies as they ventured from shop to shop … The following night, Ann and Lee Hobson opened the doors to their Highland Park home for an evening of sips, bites and rock ‘n’ roll. Serving as the kickoff for the host committee of the Unite Forever Gala — taking place in early February — the crowd was in good spirits as they mingled before being treated to an intimate concert thanks to Ken Block and Drew Copeland from Sister Hazel … Another shining bright on McKinney Avenue was held at Forty Five Ten, where lauded designer Kelly Wearstler served as the guest of honor as she launched her limited-edition collection in partnership with Swarovski, and designer Christian Siriano cozied up behind the turntables with DJ Lucy Wrubel. As stylish socials sipped on Veuve Clicquot and handcrafted cocktails from the pop-up bar compliments of Midnight Rambler, they got a sneak peek at the 10 unique bejeweled home decor and accessories unveiled from the new collection.
