Kenny's East Coast Pizza is celebrating its first birthday with free pizza.
Pizza lovers, mark your calendars! Kenny’s East Coast Pizza in Plano is celebrating its one year anniversary with pizza giveaways. On Monday, August 14, each table will receive a 14-inch cheese pizza free of charge during both lunch and dinner service.
Chef and entrepreneur Kenny Bowers opened the pizzeria a year ago near Plano’s Preston Park shopping center. Bowers also owns Kenny’s Burger Joint and Kenny’s Smoke House in Plano, as well as restaurants in Addison and Frisco.
“We’re so honored to have been able to serve the Plano community with Kenny’s East Coast Pizza during the past year, and we wanted to invite all of our friends in to share in the celebration,” Bowers said in a statement. “This gives us a chance to provide a gift to every guest in the restaurant.”
The restaurant is Bowers’ way of paying tribute to the pizza he grew up eating in Boston and Philadelphia. The East Coast-inspired pizza is prepared in a classic Bakers Pride Deck Oven. Kenny’s style is more reminiscent of pies found in New York and other Northeast cities than Naples. The pizza has a soft, slightly puffy crust, classic sauce, and loads of melted cheese, plus classic toppings.
In addition to a varied selection of 14-inch pizzas, the restaurant serves Italian American appetizers, salads and sandwiches including meatball hoagies, bruschetta, calamari, parmesan-garlic wings, and Philly cheese steak crostini. And, of course, there are classic Italian-American favorites like lasagna, chicken parmigiana and baked ziti with meatballs.
The pizzeria also has a full bar with hand crafted cocktails and special martinis poured from its signature frozen Grey Goose tap.
Stop by for lunch or dinner on August 14th to celebrate the restaurant’s first birthday with a (partially free) pizza party. The hot deal will be waiting for you from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
