BY // 03.31.17

What: Da Camera of Houston “Birth of the Cool” gala

PC Moment: With such a hip theme, how could this party be anything less than rocking? And musically pulsate it did with the sounds of Da Camera Young Artists performing Mozart and jazz tunes during dinner and visual artist and jazz historian Tierney Malone spinning classic jazz vinyls for after-dinner dancing. Fueling the energy needed for the lively evening was dinner by A Fare Extraordinaire. Spearheading the evening were chairs Jacquelyn and Collin Cox.

Who: Da Camera artistic and general director Sarah Rothenberg, Courtney and Bill Toomey, Mimi and Robert Del Grande, Gary Tinterow and Christopher Gardner, Elaine and Marvy Finger, Chinhui and Eddie Allen, Heidi and David Gerger, Karen and David Jewell, Krystal and Garrett Thompson, Claudia and David Hatcher, and Da Camera board president Paul Landen and his wife, Carolyn.
