PC Moment: More than 70,000 people have made it a holiday tradition to visit The Trains at NorthPark. The exhibit has raised more than $13 million for thousands who have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill or injured children. The exhibit features more than 750 rail cars on 1,600 feet of tracks that take the trains through notable landmarks including Dallas’ Fair Park, New York City’s Grand Central Terminal, Washington, D.C.’s White House, and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. This year’s exhibit also features a tribute to the Dallas Police Department.

The chairs and sponsors of the 2016 The Trains at NorthPark were honored by the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas earlier this month at a cocktail party hosted by Sam and Cheryl Chantilis.

Presented by Bank of Texas, the intricate miniature trains are located on level two of the shopping center between Nordstrom and the AMC Theater. Tickets are free for children under 2, $3 for children ages 2-12, and $7 for adults. The exhibit closes for Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve, but will stay open through January 8, 2017.
