PC Moment: The first annual Africa on My Mind experience took over the Houston Museum of African American Culture for a lively summer evening bringing together shopping, music, bites, and an elaborate runway show. Co-presented by HMAAC and the Nigerian-American Multicultural Council, the night’s highlights were ensembles by Houston designers Kimma Wreh of TeKay Designs, and Chioma Osibodu of Tribe of Dumo, who rolled out runway looks inspired by traditional African textiles merged with trendsetting fashion, including a female response to this season’s male rompers trend.
