Each summer, Super Saturday — a day-long discount shopping event — takes place in the Hamptons and Santa Monica to help raise money and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Now, Tri Delta’s Houston Alumnae Chapter is taking a cue from the popular retail soirée with the return of The Sale — Shop to Cure Childhood Cancer. The event will feature some of the city’s top boutiques offering end-of-the-season merchandise for colossal discounts.
Proceeds from the event will help fund pediatric cancer research at MD Anderson. Last year, The Sale raised more than $165,000 for cancer research in Houston.
