What: The Social Book 2016 Launch Party: A Knight in Camelot.

Where: The Citadel on Kirby.

Who: Social Book’s Scott Evans and Jeff Henry with Houston Treasures Creator Warner Roberts; the Houston’s Treasures, aka the evening’s honorees and VIP sponsors of The Social Book 1016: Fran Fauntleroy, Lily and Charles Foster, Nancy Gordon, Betty Hrncir, Pam Lockard, Ron Sterlekar, Joella and Steve Mach, Judy and Scott Nyquist, Kim Moody, Warner Roberts, Carol and Tom Sawyer, Trini Mendenhall, Roz and Alan Pactor, Angie and Cliff Roberts, and Diane Lokey Farb.

PC Moment: Old enough to drink, The Social Book, Houston’s comprehensive calendar of fundraising opportunities, launched its newest volume for the year and celebrated its 21st birthday at the same time. Themed “A Knight in Camelot,” 800 guests traveled back centuries to the Renaissance on a “mystical journey to medieval Britannia and Europa.” B&B Butchers & Restaurant, Black & White Mediterranean Bistro, Benjy’s and Local Foods, Tila’s, Corner Table and Songkran Thai Kitchen delivered delicious bites.

On hand to sip were Barefoot wines and bubbly, Maker’s Mark, and Stella Artois. Puppet Pizzazz delivered life-size entertainment on a string and Richard Brown Music serenaded knights and ladies.
