David Yurman‘s iconic cable bracelets and coveted rings might be symbols of classic American luxury, but the designer’s latest iteration of his collection dubbed Osetra draws inspiration from abroad.

Reminiscent of caviar, the rose-cut stones — set in either gold or darkened silver — simultaneously evoke the opulence of Russia while remaining true to the brand’s American roots.

Osetra, which Yurman first introduced in the fall of 2014, ties back to the designer’s passion for sculpting, the art form he pursued prior to launching his namesake fine jewelry line.

“I wanted to create a modern, romantic, and sculptural collection with Osetra,” says Yurman, who arrived at Neiman Marcus NorthPark last week to celebrate his new baubles. “I have taken rose-cut stones and utilized them in a unconventional manner.”

The collection is currently exclusive to Neiman Marcus, and will be available in Yurman’s boutiques soon.
