Across the globe, New Year’s Eve is the biggest celebration of the year — and a pop, fizz, clink is a must in Dallas. Here, our curated list of must-try New Year’s Eve restaurant menus and venues where you can cheer to new beginnings. Bonne année!

Flora Street Cafe

Celebrate in the Arts District with a special holiday menu prepared by chef Stephan Pyles, as well as a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Choose between two seatings — the first beginning between 6 and 7 pm (four courses, $150 per person) and the second beginning between 9 and 10 pm (five courses, $175 per person).

Stop by The Joule hotel for New Year’s specials at CBD Provisions. Highlights include oysters with caviar, foie gras with pork terrine, duck confit (featuring a black eyed peas cassoulet for New Year’s traditionalists), and chateaubriand steak.

Savor Gastropub, located in picturesque Klyde Warren Park, is inviting you to ring in the New Year in the heart of downtown Dallas. The New Year’s Eve menu includes homestead Gristmill cornmeal hoecakes, beef tartar, lobster and crab “lasagna” lobster bisque, and beef tenderloin served with butter-braised yukon potato and arugula. Reservation times are available between 5 and 9:30 pm.

Festive is the definition of this holiday dinner. Guests may choose between two seatings between 5:30 and 7 pm (three courses, $95), and 7:30 and 10 pm (four courses with champagne toast, $195). Highlights from the menus include bacon-wrapped quail Ballentine with foie gras/truffle farce on quince marmalade (second seating only), hand-foraged porcini mushroom carpaccio with baby swiss chard salad, south Texas Nilgai antelope with cranberry gastrique on celery root/pear purée, and a dessert trio of double chocolate cake, mimosa shooter with orange champagne sorbet, and apple almond tart. The night tops off with live music by saxophonist Johnny Reno and a performance by chef Dean Fearing, followed by a celebratory balloon drop at midnight.

This Uptown Japanese favorite is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the New Year, with a seven-course Omakase menu ($175 for couples) and complimentary champagne at the end of the night.

Uchi’s upstairs sister restaurant is offering dinner for two at $68 per couple, dubbed a “Knotty New Year’s.” Sample starters like the hot fried chicken bun, bigeye tuna crudos, and yucca chips; enjoy savory mains including miso brown sugar cod, chicken kimchi karaage, and scallops à la plancha; and don’t skimp on dessert — a dark chocolate fudge cake with almonds and sesame ice cream. The price also gets you two glasses of sparkling wine, $10 off a New Year’s Day brunch, and party favors.

This new Deep Ellum hot spot is celebrating 2016 with a five-course tasting menu and complimentary champagne, plus a party on its rooftop bar. Fare includes fire-roasted mushrooms made with smoked gouda and pickled shallots, dayboat scallops with salsa verde and pepper jam, cured pork belly, Texas flatiron steak, and for dessert, salted caramel apple pie with cinnamon ice cream and peanut brittle.

Dinner reservations are $95 per person, with seatings at 6, 8, and 10 pm. Rooftop packages are $1,500 per table, with the party lasting from 8 pm to 2 am.

The Crescent Club

If it’s an elegant evening with a little sparkle you’re after, look no further than The Crescent Club for cocktail hour and five-course dinner, followed by dancing above Dallas and a view of the Southwest Airlines fireworks show. Dinner is $150 for individuals and $280 for couples.

Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek

The Mansion Restaurant offers two seatings for its decadent New Year’s Eve celebration — one beginning between 5:30 and 6 pm ($115 per person) and a second, eight-course meal, beginning between 8 and 8:30 pm and ending with a sparkling wine toast at midnight ($200 per person). Both menus include lobster, iberico de bellota pork tenderloin, and Wagyu sirloin “rossini” with foie gras. Elevate your meal with Golden Osetra caviar, and for dessert enjoy illanka chocolate mousse served with a brownie and jasmine raspberry sorbet.

The Mansion Bar will be open as well, featuring a complimentary sparkling wine toast as well as live music by George Anderson & the Signature Band. Table reservations are $150 per person.

Toulouse

This charming French cafe will celebrate the New Year the Parisian way, with a menu featuring Oysters Rockefeller, lobster and fresh truffle, and foie-gras-stuffed Texas quail. Toulouse and its Lombardi Family Concepts’ sister restaurants Taverna and Bistro 31 will also offer champagne toasts at midnight, and Lounge 31 will be open for after-dinner drinks and celebration.
