The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron and the U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team will soar through the North Texas skies at the Bell Helicopter Fort Worth Alliance Air Show Oct. 28-29 at Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

This world-class air show also includes, among others, the Bell 429, U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight, Patriot Parachute Team, Michael Goulian sponsored by Aviall, Sean D. Tucker and Team Oracle, Trojan Phlyers, Shockwave Jet Truck, Bob Carlton in the Super Salto Jet Sailplane, national aerobatic champion Rob Holland, stunt pilot Gene Soucy with wing walker Teresa Stokes and Cavanaugh Flight Museum.

“The Blue Angels have been wowing audiences since they were formed in 1946, making them one of the oldest aerobatic teams in the world,” said Tom Harris, president of Alliance Air Productions, producer of the event and a nonprofit organization, a Hillwood Development Company. “In addition to remarkable performances in the sky, the air show is an aviation festival with many activities to enjoy on the ground for the entire family.”

With more than 120,000 attendees expected, this is one of the biggest community events in North Texas. See a variety of static and historical displays, explore the Discovery Zone interactive exhibits and simulators and enjoy the Kids Zones featuring the world’s largest inflatable slide plus a variety of aviation-themed inflatables.

Proceeds from the air show have benefited local nonprofit organizations. Since 2006, more than $620,000 has been distributed to more than 60 nonprofit organizations, including over $199,000 to beneficiaries such as Carry the Load, USO of Dallas/Fort Worth and Hope for the Brave. This year’s proceeds will benefit both local nonprofit organizations and local school district STEM programs.

General admission is free and parking discounts are available now at www.allianceairshow.com. Other options and a limited amount of premium upgrade seating are available for purchase. Gates open at 9 a.m. and performances begin around 10 a.m.
