Note:Emmy award-winning broadcast anchor and correspondent Elizabeth Vargas will be the keynote speaker.This will be Vargas’ first time to share her story of mental health treatment with a Houston audience. Co-anchor of ABC’s 20/20, Vargas will share details from her memoir, “Between Breaths: A Memoir of Panic and Addiction,” that chronicles her past struggles with anxiety and alcohol as well as her powerful story of healing and coping.Guests learn about Menninger’s local and national effort s to accelerate future advancements in mental health treatment, prevention, education and research.
