East River is also proud to continue its partnership with BLCK Market, one of the nation’s largest recurring gatherings of Black-owned businesses, for two summer events celebrating culture, creativity and entrepreneurship. These market experiences transform East River into a lively destination for shopping, music, food and community connection.

On Saturday, June 20, from 3 to 9 p.m., East River will host BLCK Market at Night: 7th Annual Juneteenth Celebration. The evening will feature a curated marketplace of Black-owned businesses, live DJs, food trucks, an African drummer performance by Baba Abiono Ogunrinde with an interactive drum circle, and a build-your-own flag activation honoring culture, identity and expression.
