Get ready for an extraordinary culinary experience as DR Delicacy and The Lymbar team up to celebrate National Caviar Day on July 18th, 2024 from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. This exclusive cocktail-style event, featuring the first winner of “The Truffle Masters,” David Cordúa, promises an evening of indulgence and sophistication at The Lymbar, located at 4201 Main St Suite 100, Houston, TX 77002.

This event will showcase DR Delicacy’s finest caviar paired with expertly crafted dishes to tantalize your taste buds. The evening will kick off with a special caviar bump courtesy of DR Delicacy. Guests can look forward to a menu of eight uniquely crafted dishes, including a Lobster Corndog with bourbon smoked trout roe, horseradish crème fraîche, and dill; decadent Caviar Oreos featuring squid ink blinis with osetra gold mascarpone and chive; and a luscious Tres Leches dessert, a vanilla-soaked sponge cake topped with Italian meringue and paddlefish caviar.

Guests will also enjoy a selection of perfectly paired beverages, including Piper Sonoma Brut from Sonoma, CA, LUKE Sauvignon Blanc from Columbia Valley, WA, Obsidian Sparkling Pinot Noir from Carneros, CA, as well as expertly crafted cocktails such as the classic French 75 with gin, lemon, and St. Germain, and a decadent Espresso Martini featuring vanilla Tito’s, cold brew, and espresso.

Chef David Cordúa, the chef and owner of The Lymbar, brings over 20 years of culinary expertise to this event. A native Houstonian, Cordúa is celebrated for his innovative Latin-Mediterranean cuisine. His impressive background includes a Grande Diplome from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, stints at La Tour d’Argent and L’Auberge Bressane, and leadership roles at Cordúa Restaurants. David has been a prominent food ambassador for Houston and hosted the nationally syndicated “The Houston Cookbook” show on PBS.

Diane Roederer, affectionately known as ‘The Truffle Lady’ and founder of DR Delicacy, will be in attendance to share her insights and passion for caviar. Diane’s journey into gourmet foods was inspired by her world travels and education, which endowed her with a taste for luxury foods and an adventurous spirit. A truffle-hunting expedition in Spain was pivotal in shaping her venture into gourmet foods. Upon returning to Texas, she introduced the aromatic delight of truffles to local chefs, forging strong culinary connections and earning her the title, ‘The Truffle Lady.’

Tickets for this exclusive event are priced at $125 plus tax and gratuity.
